Little Domino

The Country fair is a great place to go with our friends or family. It is a long drive down if you don’t live in Eugene but t is definitely worth the ride.  If you get down there around lunch  I recommend Soy World Cafe, it has veggie Corn dogs, french fries, donuts and much more. There were tons of places selling lemonade or orange juice. I got some hand made raspberry lemonade and it was really good! If you end up staying for almost the whole day like I did, drive down to Cozmic Pizza in Eugene. And it you have any interest in Henna Tattoos walk around and try to find someplace with no waiting list. I really enjoyed this year of the Country Fair ad I hope it’s this good next year too!

At the Rose Garden last night Disney presented the Jonas Brother tour with Jordin Sparks, Jonas Brothers, Wonder Girls ( They were terrible…) and The Honor Society!!!! I got to interview The Honor Society before the show and they are truly a great band! I thought it would be cool to post my interview so here it is:

At the concert The Honor Society sang one of their best songs, See u in the dark. And the Jonas brothers sang two of their  greatest songs Burnin’ up and SOS. The Wonder Girls sang the song Nobody and it was fine… Before the show started around 3:50  Burger King was passing out free Apple Fries and tasted BAD!  Jordin Sparks song No Air did well and so did Battle Field. But her others song weren’t the best she’s sung. Disney had a really cool water shooter thing and when the Jonas Brothers were singing a love song the water shot out like hearts. I thought that the concert last night was really fun!!!! I hope you liked it if you went!

I wrote two poems and I thought they would be cool for everyone to see so here the are,

Take a long look around, are you seeing the green grasses, trees and forever lasting valleys? Just think, maybe someday you will be in the valley. And all your happiness will come back to you and all your sadness will leave you forever. Just think, Are you awake and seeing this?

I had been asking and asking to play a domino tournament on www.dominochamp.com and today was the day I finally got to do it. When you play a tournament you soon find out it is going to be a half and hour until you find out the winner. So I played constantly for a good thirty minutes, the goal is to get all your bones (domino chips) out in the game and played for points. The first person to get to 150 points is the winner. So in the tournament you play one person to 150, and then another and another and then you can tell who the winner is. On the website they can give you a special free pass for a game. In my first round I got one of those passes called a ‘bye.’ Then I won my next and in my last game I won, and that round was called the Championships! I won 160 to 100 something!!!! And you can get prizes from the tournaments, and I got a free domino set!!!!

I couldn’t believe in what I was hearing. Two boys got to be team captain’s for one game of kick ball, and I got put on the worst team… When it was turn to get put on a team one of the team captain’s said, ” You pretty lady are on my team.” I looked at all the other girls and the captain to see who he was pointing at. One of the girls went forward thinking it was her. (She thought she was the, ‘pretty lady’ Then the captain had to say that it wasn’t her and that it had to be me!) GREAT… At least my best friend got put on to my team and I didn’t even have to around my captain. (at least some of the time….) Hopefully I won’t have to be on his team again……

The reason it is most popular right now, is because it is of course basketball season and scrimmaging seems to be the best game to play in basketball. At school today over twenty kids came over and decided to come over and join the few who were playing. First it was Bump, (a game where many people can play) Then it became scrimmaging when a least six people were playing.
